We are delighted to introduce you Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon of The London Sports Injury Clinic, Mr Ali Noorani.

What is your speciality?

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon. I specialise in upper limb. I look after patients with all problems of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.

Where are you based?

I base my private practice at The London Sports Injury Clinic at 108 Harley Street. My NHS post is at UK’s largest Trauma Centre , the St Bart’s & Royal London Hospital (Barts Health NHS UK).

What is your availability?

I consult at The London Sports Injury Clinic on Monday and Thursday. Patients can also be seen by my colleagues within the team depending upon their requirements. We are usually able to offer consultation, imaging and treatment on the same day.

What is your experience of Arab patients?

I have been looking after Arab patients for years. Most of the patients are seeking advice and treatment for general upper limb conditions. Most of them do not require operations. I also get referred complex major trauma from the Middle East when local hospitals to not have the expertise.

How successful are the treatments?

I judge this very much from patient satisfaction and the high level of patients who recommend my services and those of The London Sports Injury Clinic to others. The team approach that is the ethos of 108 Medical Chambers is also present in The London Sports Injury Clinic.

Any advice?

The treatment of joint and bone problems has advanced tremendously over the years. A lot of people get joint and bone problems and do not seek advice because they believe that the problems may be due to aging and permanent damage and there are no solutions. This is usually not the case. At the London Sports Injury Clinic we have some of the world’s best experts in their field and we are able to accurately diagnose and treat all conditions.
